"Techno" plant

In early 2007, the management of "TechnoNIKOL" company made a decision to build an enterprise for the production of mineral wool slabs from basalt rocks from the Kemerovo Region. The stone wool production plant was then built in the city of Yurga from the so-called "zero cycle" literally in a swamp. The area of its main production building is 20,520 m2, the area of the 3-storey administrative complex is 4,500 m2, and that of the waste processing complex - 1,152 m2. The first pile was driven into the foundation on 27 August 2007,  and as soon as in the end of 2008 the plant was launched.

When considering the issue of purchasing equipment, the comany's management took into account the design and technological features of previous projects, and the choice was made in favor of the successfully proven technological lines of leading European suppliers. The project provided for technical solutions for the processing of industrial waste.

Today the plant in Yurga is an environmentally friendly enterprise producing basalt thermal insulation, with its own complexes for waste processing, water and air purification. Environmental issues are of the highest priority for the new enterprise, since it is located within the city of Yurga, and much attention is paid to the environmental safety of the region in Kuzbass. The plant has a system for cleaning flue gases by afterburning, consisting of three stages: coarse cleaning, fine cleaning and afterburning of gases at the temperature of 1,500° C. The enterprise is equipped with a large industrial waste processing complex capable of utilizing up to 150 tons per day.

The main types of raw materials are basalt rocks (Russian raw materials), and the main energy carrier is coke. The laboratory created at the plant has sectors for testing raw materials and finished products and an environmental sector. The technical equipment of the laboratory is at the highest level.

The total number of employees of the plant is 200 people. Work experience has shown that automation of processes and efficient organization of labor can help achieve excellent results even with a small number of employees. All "TECHNONICOL" products manufactured at the plant in Yurga are certified; they are of high quality, and meet international standards.

More than 60 items of produced thermal insulation with a density of 35 –190 kg/m3 are intended for use: in roofs – as the thermal insulation layer; in facade insulation systems with heavy plaster on a steel reinforcing net –as a heat insulation layer; in vertical and inclined walls of all types of buildings – as thermal, sound and fire insulation; and as a starting material for the manufacture of sandwich panels. Besides, stone wool insulation is effective for thermal and fire insulation of various pipe structures, for additional protection of building structures from high temperatures, and in framed partitions as a sound absorber.

Due to its favorable geographical location, the plant in Yurga provides heat-insulating materials to the Siberian Federal District, Eastern Siberia, the Far East, Kazakhstan and Mongolia
