General
information

“Stroyservis” unites coal mining and processing enterprises, coke production enterprises, domestic marketing and export enterprises. The enterprise group includes one of the largest metal traders in the Siberian Federal District, supplying a full range of products from leading Russian metal producers to the domestic market.

5 open-pit mines and 4 processing plants are managed by “Stroyservis” JSC:

  • “Razrez “Berezovskiy” LLC
  • “Razrez Permyakovsky” LLC
  • “Joint enterprise “Barzasskoye tovarischestvo” LLC
  • “Open-pit mine “Shestaki” JSC
  • “Shakhta №12” LLC

The company ranks 6th in Russia in terms of coking coal production. Its products are supplied to the largest Russian metallurgical and coke-chemical plants for high-quality coke production and pulverized coal injection (PCI) in blast furnaces. The main Russian consumers of coking coal concentrate produced by “Stroyservis” JSC are NLMK Group, OAO “Altai-Koks”, EVRAZ, and “Mechel”.

AO “Stroyservis” is one of the ten largest Russian thermal coal producers. Its products are supplied to the Russian domestic market: to leading generating companies, metallurgical plants, cement plants, and housing and communal service enterprises. In 2020, its coal production increased from 13.2 million tons to 14.2 million tons, including 4.5 million tons of coking coal.

In 2020, “Stroyservis” JSC shipped 5.2 million tons of coal for export. In 2019, its exports of coal amounted to 4.5 million tons; thus, the indicator increased by 15%. The main directions of export supplies are the countries of the Asia-Pacific region (Japan, Korea, and India), the EU countries and others (Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Turkey). Given the COVID-19 pandemic, the growing demand in the Asia-Pacific region, and especially the Chinese government's restrictions on the import of Australian coal, the company entered new markets in China and Vietnam. The total supply of coal to consumers increased from 13.1 million tons in 2019 to 13.6 million tons in 2020.

Since 2005, “Stroyservis” JSC has been actively engaged in social and economic cooperation with the administration of Kuzbass. In 2018-2020, about 2 billion rubles was allocated for the implementation of regional social programs (reconstruction and equipment of schools, cultural institutions, sports facilities, and infrastructure development in the territories where its enterprises are located). In 2019-2020, rock festivals "Heroes of World Rock" were organized in Kemerovo and Novokuznetsk; they were visited by about 200,000 spectators from Russia and abroad for free. In 2019, the company was recognized as the Patron of the Year by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. In 2019 and 2020, it became the winner of the MediaTEK competition held by the Ministry of Energy. For 20 years “Stroyservis” JSC has been the general sponsor of the Thai Boxing Federation of Russia and Kuzbass. Over this time, 14 athletes from Kuzbass became world champions, and the Russian national team became the best in the world 4 times. Since 2019, the company has been supporting Evgenia Pavlova, a talented Russian biathlonist born in Gurievsk.
