Siberian generating company

The company was formed on the basis of the power facilities that were previously part of "Kuzbassenergo" and "Yeniseiskaya Generating Company". Until 2009, they worked as part of the "Siberian Coal Energy Company" ("SUEK"). The separation and organization of "Siberian generating company", completed in 2012, was associated with the desire to modernize production, adapt it to new requirements, and seize the new opportunities that opened up for the industry.

"Siberian Generating Company" is one of the leading energy holdings in Russia. The company provides reliable heat supply, participates in the electric energy market, and actively develops the infrastructure of the cities where it operates. The company's main competitive advantage is the use of local thermal coal mined by the enterprises of "SUEK".

To date, "Siberian Generating Company" has implemented a number of large-scale investment projects in Kuzbass, such as the construction of "Novokuznetskaya" gas turbine electric power station with an installed capacity of 298 MW on the site of "Kemerovskaya" Thermal Power Station, and the reconstruction of power units No. 4 and No. 6 of Belovo State District Power Plant and power units No. 4 and No. 5 of Tom-Usa State District Power Plant. As a result of the new construction and the reconstruction of out-of-date units, the region has received a serious reserve for the reliable operation of the power system.

The total installed electric capacity is 4155.8 MW, theheat capacity is 5251 Gcal/h. The length of the served heating networks is 1609 km.
