Kuzbass Power Grid Company

The company began operating on 1 January 2004, uniting the enterprises serving electric networks in the cities and settlements of Kuzbass. Since its foundation, the company has been headed by the Honored Power Engineer of the Russian Federation, Hero of Kuzbass Pyotr Ivanovich Kuruch .

The company unites 21 branches. One of the company's branches - "Kemerovo Power Grid" - is its production base for electrical and boiler equipment manufacturing. Switchyards, transformer substations and various metal structures are manufactured not only for the company's power grids, but also at the request of third-party organizations.

"Kuzbass Energy Grid Company" LLC serves more than 15,000 kilometers of electrical networks - from Tisul to Tashtagol, and 4,600 transformer substations, including twenty-eight 110-kV and 35-kV substations. More than 200,000 private houses, 9,000 apartment buildings, and 29,000 legal entities are connected to the electric networks of "Kuzbass Energy Grid Company" LLC.

From year to year, the company pays close attention to the development of power supply in Mountain Shoria. Welcoming tourists at Sheregesh Ski Resort is impossible without uninterrupted and high-quality power supply. "Kuzbass Energy Grid Company" LLC successfully copes with this task. All power facilities of Mount Zelyonaya have been transferred to the automated control method, and in the event of an emergency, the power supply will be restored remotely through the operational dispatch service. In order to take prompt measures to eliminate accidents and consequences of natural disasters, an emergency recovery team has been created in the company.

Training and development of the company's staff is a strategically important task of "Kuzbass Energy Grid Company" LLC. In 2016, the company received a license to conduct educational activities.

The history of the company is not so long, but a lot has already been achieved. Large-scale projects have been implemented for the installation of modern metering devices and the modernization of the power grids.

The efforts company's efforts to reduce network losses, use modern technologies and optimize infrastructure development were highly noted in the rating of energy efficiency of power grid companies of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation (3rd place among more than 180 power grid companies).
