• 1929: the plant was established based on the repair shops of "Koksokhimzavod".
• 1930-1940: the production of mining equipment for the mines of Kuzbass was started.
• 1941: the management of the plant was transferred to the People's Commissariat of Ammunition. The production of military products was launched at the plant in 1941, after the evacuation of the Noginsk Plant No. 510 (the "Gramplastinki" plant), when the production of 23mm armor-piercing incendiary shells and casings for them was mastered and launched in the shortest possible time.
• 1945: the management of the plant was transferred to the Ministry of Rural Engineering. The enterprise produced straw choppers, crushers, spare parts for agricultural machines and tractors, and continued producing military products.
• 1958: the management of the plant was transferred to the Council of People's Commissars of the Kemerovo Department of Mechanical Engineering. The production of 23 mm, 25 mm, and 30 mm ammunition ordered by the Air Force, Navy, and GRAU was launched; it became the main product for the plant.
• The enterprise has kept its experience and traditions. Today, the Kemerovo Mechanical Plant successfully implements the state defense order in its segment (the production of small and medium caliber ammunition), and expands the range of produced civilian goods.
• 2020: the plant achieved significant success and opened up new prospects for itself; a solid foundation was created for the further growth and development of the enterprise: the product range was expanded, production diversification continued, and new sales markets were discovered.

The assignment of the Government of Kuzbass was successfully fulfilled.

As assigned by the Government of Kuzbass, the team of the Kemerovo Mechanical Plantin developed the technology and launched the production of valve systems for the ALV and UV bactericidal recirculators for the Health Protection system. The company's technological potential and the talent capacity of its staff allowed solving all the production tasks quickly.

With the assistance of the regional government, the Kuzbass Industry Development Fund provided the plant with a concessional loan to purchase the necessary equipment for the launch of a new production. The Kemerovo Mechanical Plant acquired a band saw machine for precise cutting of metal blanks, a laser cutting unit for manufacturing assembly parts of various configurations, and numerical control lathes for high-tech processing of parts.
